Hair Care & Maintenance Guide

Proper care is essential to preserving the beauty, softness, and longevity of your hair. Follow our recommended maintenance guide to keep your wigs, bundles, frontals, and closures looking their best.

General Care Tips

  • Always detangle hair gently from the ends and work your way up to the roots.
  • Use sulfate free and alcohol free products whenever possible.
  • Avoid excessive heat and always apply a heat protectant before styling.
  • Store hair properly when not in use to help maintain shape and softness.
  • Use a silk or satin bag, bonnet, or pillowcase to reduce friction and dryness.

Wig Maintenance

  • Gently brush or comb through the wig before and after each wear.
  • Wash your wig as needed using lukewarm water and a moisturizing shampoo.
  • Follow with a hydrating conditioner and allow it to sit for several minutes before rinsing.
  • Let the wig air dry on a mannequin head to help preserve its shape.
  • Avoid applying heavy oils or greasy products directly onto the lace.

Bundle Maintenance

  • Detangle bundles before washing to minimize shedding.
  • Wash with a gentle shampoo and conditioner, then allow the hair to air dry.
  • Use light styling products to avoid buildup and keep the hair flowing naturally.
  • For curly or wavy textures, use a spray bottle with water and a light leave in conditioner to refresh the pattern.
  • Wrap or braid bundles at night to prevent tangling.

Frontals & Closures

  • Handle lace with care to avoid tearing or thinning.
  • Use a gentle adhesive remover when removing glue or residue.
  • Do not scratch, pull, or aggressively brush through the lace area.
  • Clean the lace regularly to prevent buildup from glue, gel, or makeup.
  • Allow lace pieces to fully dry before reinstallation.

  • Curly and wavy textures require more moisture than straight textures.
